On behalf of the men and women of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 NIC-EOC, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim who passed away yesterday.
Chair Lim played an invaluable role in the national government’s COVID-19 response efforts, particularly in leading his agency in implementing measures which helped contain and mitigate the spread of the disease in Metro Manila.
But most of all, Chair Lim will be best remembered commitment, hard work and courage to confront the challenges brought about by the pandemic. Up until his final days, he valiantly fought for the health and safety of his countrymen.
Chair Lim, Fellow Cavalier, may you find eternal peace and comfort in the hands of our Lord.
