NTF assures sufficient supply of vaccines despite shortening of intervals for booster shots; lays out plans for vaccination program in 2022

PH gov’t, Pfizer BionNTech sign deal for additonal 20M doses, bringing the total purchase to 60M COVID-19 doses

PASIG CITY — The Philippine government and Pfizer-BioNTech have signed an amendment to its previous supply agreement for the purchase of an additional 20 million vaccine doses, which brings to 60 million the total vaccine shots ordered by the country from the US-based manufacturer for the year 2021 and 2022.
