NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC – CSO Re-Application – ADDU

The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) recognizes the importance of establishing networks and institutionalizing the setting up of democratic safe spaces for civil society organizations (CSOs) to participate in peacebuilding and good governance. Working closely with the CSOs will allow a deep understanding of local situations, as well as ensure that programs and projects are based on the current contexts and dynamics on the ground.

The OPAPRU, intensifying its social healing and peacebuilding efforts especially in peace and development focus areas (formerly called the conflict-affected and conflict-vulnerable communities) and in mobilizing and facilitating people’s active participation in the peace process, grassroots CSOs have been encouraged to apply for accreditation to be qualified implementers of OPAPRU projects and programs.
