Bangsamoro Transition Commission version of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law

On 17 June 2017, the Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC) finalized its draft Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL). The draft law was turned over to the President at the Malacañan Palace on 17 July 2017. It was immediately transmitted to the House of Representatives and the Senate by the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office last 14 August 2017. The BBL had it its first Senate public hearing on 20 December 2017.
